Abstract

he quest for university industry cannot be over emphasized because the advent of technology has tremendously enhanced production processes in the field of Environmental design, making industrial process achievable in all facet of production. This is as a result of the Bauhaus revolution that brought about Advanced innovation leading to industrialization due to the hinge to improve and sustain the production process into simpler, fast and mass producing of items. This movement was founded by the architect Walter Gropius' in Weimar; Germany in the year 1919, its Main objectives is unifying the applied Arts and Applied sciences. This paper discusses the history of the Bauhaus revolution. The purpose is to know how the university can be revolutionized in becoming an industry The paper will also provide a solution to sustainable industrial design, providing measures of incorporating other field qfstudies to achieving its aim. Furthermore, the paper is suggesting the adoption of the Bauhaus ideology not only in theory but in practical aspect .for better advancing in innovation and economic
development through Euvironmental design. Finally, the paper concludes by listing avenues on how innovation can be geared towards. sustainabilrty of industrial design department and the industry in the University.
