CULTURAL DIFFUSION IN IGBO LAND A CASE STUDY OF ARONDIZUOGU
Abstract
Culture is supreme and the backbone of every man and the society. It defines whom we are, gives every individual that unmistakable identity, which tells the world where you are coming from or whom you are. It encompasses the food we eat, cloths we wear, births and burial ceremonies, dances, folklores, traditions, religion, language, music, technology among others. Culture originates from a particular place and spread to other cultural zones through social contact. The mode of its spread and impact upon the individuals and the society at large is the main context of this work.
