The Israeli-Palestine conflict is one of the ongoing conflicts in the global system that have generated grave humanitarian concern as the conflict has led to the death of thousands including women and children and the social displacement of many. The conflict has also led to the destruction of key infrastructures such as hospitals, banks and schools etc. The conflict has generated refugee crisis along the borders countries to the conflict. The realist theory propounded by Hans Morgenthau in 1978 was deployed for the study. Secondary source of data was utilized; it involves the collection of data from textbooks, journal and article etc. The study finds out that the Israeli-Palestine conflict has become complicated owing to the interest of some regional powers like Iran. The continue support Hamas received from Iran has been instrumental for Hamas in waging the war against Israel. The paper recommends that the international and regional community should intensify effort to address the problem of terrorism in the world. The mere proscription of terrorist groups is not enough; effort should be made to curtail them for the safety of mankind. Keywords:Conflict, Israel, Palestine, Middle East, War, Gaza
