The Moral Implication of Suicide and Terrorism on the Dignity of Human Life

Abstract

Suicide and Terrorism are threats to the dignity of human life. Today, many people are into the act of suicide and terrorism and such people do not see anything wrong with their actions. As a matter of fact, they give reasons to justify their actions. It is a known fact that some individuals who engage in the act of terrorism see it as a business and many have made billions in this business of terrorism. Funny enough is the fact that they have recruited and are still recruiting many innocent young people into becoming suicide bombers as the easiest weapons to carry out their act of terrorism. On the other hand, some people justify the act of suicide with the fact that they are free to do anything with their lives but they forget that freedom goes with responsibility. Whatever may be the reason(s) as to why some people commit suicide or engage in an act of terrorism, the fact still remains that these acts are morally and intrinsically evil in themselves because they destroy human life and therefore a sin against God who alone has the power to destroy human life because He is the owner and creator of human life.
