Imitating the Prophetic Role of Mary Through Prophetic Communication in Nigeria

Abstract

This paper is a reflection on the role of Mary as Prophet. The article draws insights from some significant literature on the topic. The article identifies the prophetic roles of Mary, which are contained in the Annunciation, Magnificat, her advocacy for justice, her specific mission, and her apparitions. Further, the article attempts to explain the meaning of Marian Spirituality and recommends the need to develop a prophetic consciousness like Mary. Added to these are some salient tips for communicating prophetic messages.
