The study employed a Descriptive Statistical Survey design to gather data. The population of interest comprised 385 students from Ahmadu Bello University, consisting of 217 females and 298 males. To ensure representativeness, the Proportional Random Sampling Technique was employed, resulting in a study sample of 200 students, with 115 students actively participating in the study. The findings of the research revealed that all the students utilized Mobile Internet Devices as their primary source for accessing research materials. This highlights the significance of MIDs in facilitating educational research work among students. Based on these findings, it is recommended that students be encouraged to embrace the use of Mobile Internet Devices as a valuable resource for their educational research endeavours. Additionally, it is crucial for the government to provide adequate instructional resources to promote the effective use of Information and Communication Technology, including MIDs, in educational institutions, particularly universities. Furthermore, both governmental and non governmental organizations should collaborate to create an enabling environment that fosters the integration of Mobile Internet Devices into students' educational research work. This will ensure their access to up-to-date and relevant educational materials, thereby enhancing their academic pursuits.
