Abstract
Abstract In the era of post-truth politics, the dismissal of objective truth and the spread of misinformation have profound implications for philosophical inquiry, critical thinking, and democratic discourse. This paper critically examines the intersection of post-truth politics and conspiracy theories, highlighting their erosion of epistemic institutions and the challenges they pose to rational discourse. Through a philosophical analysis, this paper argues for a renewed emphasis on critical thinking, intellectual humility, and fact-based reasoning to mitigate the detrimental effects of post-truth politics and conspiracy theories
