There 1s a strong perception that the Holy Spirit is visibly present in all peoples, human cultures and civilizations, Being the pivotzl instrument of God's presence in persons and cultures, its activities predate the arrival of Christianity in Africa. Its dynamic presence, movement and massive activity in the lives of people reflected in the high record of conversion to Christian practice amongst the baptized Christians in Africa are not only impressive but also reveal the marvels of God's love for our dear continent. The projection to the future, of what massive positive results to be recorded and expected in the conversion of souls to God, in the development of Christian centres of worship, in the transformation of lives as the result of genuine faith commitments, in the renewal of lives shattered by violence and wars, injustice and manipulations, especially of those marginalized and oppressed by colonial powers, tribal warlords, and political divides are amongst the agenda of the Holy Spirit This is a great mystery, beyond our visions as shepherds and flock in the vineyard of the Lord.
