Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of New Religious Movements (NRMs) on Education in Ndiokoroukwu rural community with a focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by these movements. It argues that NRMs have both positive and negative impacts on Education. The work employs qualitative research method, using in-depth interviews with 20 participants, including educators, religious leaders, and community members. The interviews were conducted in Ndiokoroukwu rural community, and the data was analyzed using thematic method. The findings of this study reveal that New Religious Movements promoted moral values and discipline among students, and have provided educational resources and support to marginalized Communities.
