Metaphysics and Medical Practice: The Ontological Connection

摘要

This study examines the relationship between metaphysics and medical practice by man; it adopted textual and expository analysis. The finding of the study revealed that there is a great relationship between metaphysics and medical practice in the area of the being of life and the ontological credentials of a human being, this cross-road is what forms the bedrock of medical practice in the world. Health workers especially medical practitioners make decisions on a daily basis in the performance of their duties. Therefore, it concluded that NUC should make the learning of metaphysics compulsory for medical practitioners.
